“Beautiful beach retreat! The Lighthouse was the perfect place for a beach getaway! We loved the quiet and quaint neighborhood, probably only saw about 10 people the whole trip. The view of the beach (which is literally steps away) was gorgeous, from the inside of the house and from the deck. The house was a real treat. It felt big enough for us (2 adults), but I think it may get a bit cramped with 4+. Had all the amenities we needed and everything felt clean. As others have said, the house could use a deep clean of dusting and a scrub here or there, but it didn’t damper our stay at all. Loved the huge windows (with one side having automatic shades). If you want to watch tv during the day, sun glare will be an issue, but who needs it when you can relax on the beach instead! Fridge was small so bring a cooler for extra stuff. Kitchen was great but could use some instructions for the dishwasher possibly (still do dishes by hand over here ?). Beds were nice and comfy with the upstairs room having an awesome view of the water. The beach was basically ours the whole stay, perfect to just sit out or go for nice long walks. Overall, We would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family! Corresponding with Kiwanda Coastal was super easy. They responded to emails quickly, and were very friendly. The Lighthouse has become our new go to spot on the coast!”

“Lighthouse 2 Beautiful views and accommodations. Could use some cobweb dusting or a swifter!! Short on towels and could use rugs by the doors!!! We can’t wait to come back! Didn’t mind the road closure, beach was all ours!! Dec 2023”

“Location! This house was in a beautiful location. Just walk out the back door right to the beach. We enjoyed our stay there. It would have been helpful to have shampoo/conditioner and things like salt/pepper/sugar and more than 1 small thing of coffee. So bring your stuff with you!”
