Rustic Retreat - Private Beach Access

“We had unclear instructions about trash pickup and location of garbage can. Meredith very responsive to this. Departure time of 11:00 am would be MUCH more civilized than 10:00 am. No fireplace instructions available. Beyond that we loved our stay at Rustic Retreat and will consider returning. Clean and solid. We like it's basic design, family history and location. Guests should know in advance that it's the perfect place for a group that's all on the same sleep schedule..... the bedrooms are not designed to be soundproof, thus everyone pretty much needs to get up and go bed around the same time. The sounds of making morning coffee travel throughout the cabin and is a wakeup call for everyone. :-)”

“The Rustic Retreat was exactly as described. Full of history and character which we loved. This home had everything we wanted, it was Peaceful, quiet, had a beautiful view and so comfortable. Although we brought our own towels etc, we really didn’t need to. There was more than enough towels and blankets for all the rooms. Only 2 adults and our 2 dogs on this trip so we didn’t use the upstairs at all. The beach made this trip worth every penny. We have 2 dogs that are nervous around other dogs, the beach was empty for the majority of our time there, so our dogs had a great time also. Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us. We were sad to leave but I’m sure we will return. Thank you.”
